Description

Conveyance by lease and release from Robert Davis Goodman Jones of Stevenage, Co. Herts., gentleman, to Edward Ashwin of Stratford-upon-Avon, mercer and draper, and his trustee, John Elliott of the same, stationer, (reciting DR63/7-9 and that Nathaniel Cookes had died at Snitterfield on 13 March 1804) for £300, of a messuage in Bridge Street, Stratford-upon-Avon near a place called The Cross, late in the tenure of the said Nathaniel Cookes, since of William Chattaway, mercer and draper, and now of the said Edward Ashwin, bounded on the west by a messuage held by lease under Stratford Corporation, being the corner house in High Street, also in the tenure of Edward Ashwin, on the north by Bridge Street, on the east by a messuage late occupied by Thomas Dadley, deceased, and now by Joseph Haynes Brandis, and on the south by a messuage in High Street occupied by John Pearce, watchmaker.
