Abstract of the title of Richard Chattaway to a messuage in Bridge Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, reciting nos. 7-20 and the following deeds: a) 19 December 1851: conveyance from John Cory, with the consent of Ann Ashwin, widow of Thomas Ashwin, died 26 April 1850, to Richard Chattaway of Stratford-upon-Avon, mercer and draper, for £800 (£500 to John Cory and £300 to Ann Ashwin) b) 22 December 1851: mortgage from Richard Chattaway to John Mills Getley of Bishopton in Old Stratford, farmer, to secure £800 c) 8 March 1861: assignment of mortgage from William Tabberer of Bordesley Park in Alvechurch, co. Worcs., gentleman, to John Sarjeant of Great Rollright, co. Oxon., Farmer; Mortgage reduced to £700. d) 13 December 1862: will of John Sarjeant appointing as executors Daniel Sarjeant of Long Itchington, farmer, and John Bachelor of Stratford-upon-Avon, gentleman. 18 July 1863: assignment of mortgage from the said executors to Ann Sarjeant of Great Rollright, co. Oxon., widow. Mortgage increased to £1000.
