Assignment from Ann Ashwin of Stratford-upon-Avon, widow of Thomas Ashwin, late of the same, merchant, with the consent of the Corporation of Stratford-upon-Avon, to Richard Chattaway, of Stratford-upon-Avon, mercer and draper, of a lease dated 21 May 1834, from the said Corporation to Thomas Ashwin (died 26 April 1850) of a messuage on the east side of High Street in the occupation of the said Thomas Ashwin, and his co-partner, Edward Getley, for 42 years at an annual rent of £25.
