Description

Notification from John Dymmock [lord] of Skrevelby, knight, reciting an indenture between him and Sir Fulk de Birmynehame and Ralph Basset of Sapcot, knights, binding the two latter to pay to him 100 marks in the monastery of St. Paul in Londrs' before the feast of Ash Wednesday next ensuing, that he has received the said 100 marks from the said Fulk and Ralph, in part payment of 300 marks. Dated at Birmynehame, Saturday next before the feast of St. Peter in Cathedra, 36 Edward III. Seal on tongue, circular, green; armorial. Two lions passant, the whole within a cusped 8-foil. Legend: SIGILLUM JOHANNI DIMMOC.
