Conveyance by lease and release from John Benton and Charles Joseph Harford, with the consent of Edmund Meysey Wigley Greswolde (formerly Edmund Meysey Wigley) a major in the 6th Dragoons, to William Williams late of Old Stratford and now of Devizes in the county of Wiltshire, doctor of medicine [reciting documents DR231/2 and DR231/3-4] , for £1000, of a messuage with coach house, stable and other outbuildings, and garden in Old Town in the parish of Old Stratford and the borough of Stratford-upon-Avon, heretofore in the occupation of Thomas Woolmer, gentleman, afterwards of his daughter Katherine Makepeace, widow, since successively of Edward Gibbs, esq., Richard Wyatt, gentleman, and of Misses Wyatt, lately of the said William Williams and now of Thomas Thomson, doctor of medicine.
