Maxstoke Priory lordship

Description

Deed of partition of the estates of Bernard Paulet, Cottles, Wilts, deceased, between his sisters and co-heiresses, Jane Browne, Cottles, Wilts., widow and Anne Daniell, Fillongley, Warks, widow, with the consent of Thomas Holbech of Fillongley and Elizabeth his wife, daughter of said Ann Daniell. After reciting marriage settlement of Thomas Holbech and Elizabeth Daniell, 27 July 1676 [DR18/10/86/2/6] and consent of Thomas and Elizabeth to the partition, the estates are divided whereby Jane Browne receives the lands and premises in Wiltshire, together with an annuity of £200 chargeable on the other lands, for equality of value, whilst Ann Daniell receives the estates of Maxstoke Priory, with the rectories of Shustoke, Bentley and Fillongley, Warks., and of Nosterfield Priors, in Shudy Camp, Essex [sic, recte Cambs.] Signed and sealed
