Attested copy assignment of mortgages by Mary Horley, wife of Thomas Horley, Upton, gent., Elizabeth Pratt, Long Itchington, spinster and Sarah Pratt, Long Itchington, spinster (which Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah are daughters of Elizabeth Pratt, wife of Timothy of Long Itchington, and residuary legatees under the will of George Porter, Coventry, flaxman) to Ann Burton, Wyken, spinster, for £422-4-6 of lands in Kenilworth and messuage in Broadgate, Coventry, vested in George Porter as mortgagee. Recitals 17 Dec 1749 Mortgage by Richard Hurley, Kenilworth, innkeeper to Henry Jackson for £80 of a close called Vials field and meadow called Whattcotts lying in Castle End, Kenilworth (7 acres) and a barn in one of closes and six ridges (1 acre) in Stockdale field. All late in occupation Thomas Toone deceased then said Richard Hurley [Richard Hurley married Elizabeth Toone, widow of Thomas in 1737] DR18/10/79/2-3 1756 Enclosure award for Kenilworth alloting to Richard Hurley, 3r. 1p. in Stockton field in lieu six ridges and 4 ac. 24p. in New Field in lieu three half acres. 5.6.1762 Further charge for £200 by Richard Hurley, Elizabeth Hurley and John Hurley, Coventry, oilman, their son, to Jackson. 13.10.1768 Assignment of mortgages, after death of Richard Hurley, by Jackson, at request of John Hurley, to George Porter, Coventry, flaxman for £285 to Jackson and £520 by way of additional mortgage messuage and premises on West side Broadgate, Coventry.
