Feoffment from Margaret Fermor'[Fermour] of Eye widow and Richard her son of the same to Elizabeth Fermor' [Fermour] her daughter, Anthony Gyssynge, Thomas Nele and Thomas Barker jun. of the same of a messuage and curtilage, half a well and piece of land belonging thereto in Eye, lying between a messuage late Thomas Fermor' [Fermour] then Thomas Nele on the south and a messuage formerly William Selfe then John Manby on the north, abutting on the highway east and on land belonging to the manor of Netherhall and John Manby's freehold west, which they had by gift of William Fenne and Roger Ver' of Eye dated 14 October 24 Henry VIII, to hold to the grantees to the sole use of Elizabeth Fermor' [Fermour] of the chief lords of the fee by services due and accustomed, subject to Margaret Fermor's [Fermour] retaining a life interest, on condition that Margaret Fermor' [Fermour] should hold the same for term of her life. Dated at Eye, 7 July 30 Henry VIII Tag for seal. Endorsed with memorandum of livery of seisin, witnesses William Fenne and William Thrower bailiffs, John Manby, Robert Crowe, John Newman', William Chycheley, William Walor and others.
