Description

Conveyance from John Spencer of Darlingscote, farmer, to Phyllis Spencer, wife of John Spencer the younger of Shipston-on-Stour, draper, for £287 7s 10d, of:

i) a cottage in Brailes, formerly known as Jusses, late in the occupation of Thomas Rainbow, since of Richard Jefferies, then of John Bailey, then of Daniel Field and now of Miss Mathews

ii) a messuage in Lower Brailes late in the occupation of William Godson, glover, since of William Hands, then of Temperance Upton, and now of Robert Timms, purchased by James Upton the elder from Richard Godson on 17 August 1816, with an adjoining piece of garden ground, containing 480 square feet, formerly part of the premises known as the Rose and Crown Inn.
