Description

Copy will of John Clews of Alveston, labourer, whereby he devised to his three sons (Edward Clews, Richard Clews and William Clews) certain hereditaments in Alveston adjoining the Stratford-Banbury road, together with all his personal estate to be equally divided between them and he directed that his wife Ann Clews should during her life have free use of all the aforesaid hereditaments and personal estate, and he appointed Edward and Richard Clews his executors. Witnesses: Mary Worsey and William Grimes. Examined by John Hunt and William Pardoes, 21 September 1858.
