Draft abstract of title (1854) of Thomas Porter, the surviving Trustee of the marriage settlement of John Phipps with Elizabeth his wife (formerly Elizabeth Bennett, spinster) to a messuage and premises in Payton Street, two messuages in John Street and six messuages in Great William Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, beginning (as to the premises in John Street and Payton Street) with indentures of lease and release, dated 26 and 27 May 1818, between John Payton, gent., of the first part, William Hemings, surveyor, of the second part, William Porter, dealer in corn, of the third part, William Bennett, builder, of the fourth part and Edwards Hawkes, ironmonger, of the fifth part; and (as to the premises in Great William Street) with indentures of lease and release, dated 7 and 8 November 1814, between John Fetherston, victualler, of the first part, William Bennett, joiner, of the second part and John Elliot, law-stationer, of the third part; and ending with a note of the death of John Lane on 28 March 1854.
