Description

Draft release by Reverend W[illiam] Bellamy, late of Southam, now of Tidmington, Worcs., clerk and Margaret his wife (widow and sole executrix of her late husband John Timms, late of Ascott, Whichford, yeoman, deceased) to Nicholas Timms, Buryfield, Hook Norton, Oxon., yeoman `brother-in-law' [?stepbrother] and devisee named in the will of said John Timms) for £500 and annuity of £60 to Margaret Bellamy of farmhouse, 6 1/2 yard lands, 6 closes and 2 cottages, all in Whichford, being partly the lands settled as jointure by marriage settlement 11 and 12 May 1755 of said John Timms and Margaret, daughter of Isaac Snow and partly residuary real estate devised under will, 16 March 1764, of John Timms to said Nicholas after death of Margaret.
