Baddesley Clinton

Description

Gift from Thomas de Clinton lord of Baddesleye to Isabel widow of Philip de Chetewinde and Roger son of the said Isabel of twenty-one acres of land with woods growing upon it in the park of the said Thomas at Baddesleye, of which eighteen acres lay in length from the road leading from Ketelestile as far as the gate of the said park which is called le Abbeywey extending as far as Geggegroue, and in breadth from the ditch of the said Isabel dropping into the said park towards the manor of Baddesleye. The other three acres lying beyond Geggegroue towards the waste land, and extending in length from the lower headland of the said eighteen acres as far as the waste called le Kingeswode and in breadth from Geggegroue towards the house of John Sutor'. To hold the same with all appurtenances for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Warranty clause. Sealing clause.
