Description

Gift from Richard Euoton' and John Grene of Balshale to Roger Grove of Pacwod and Margaret his wife, daughter of Geoffrey Richardes of Balshale of a field called Marleputtesfeld, lying within the lordship of Baddesley Clynton' and extending in length as far as le Marleput, also a meadow called Rouleymor and the reversion of a croft lying above Baddesleyhull' within the lordship of Baddesley Clynton' after the death of Joan Berybroun sister of the said Geoffrey Richardes, which croft and meadow the grantors held by the gift and feoffment of Geoffrey Richardes. To hold the same to the said Roger and Margaret and their lawful issue, rendering 6 1/2 d. annual rent to the chief lords if the fee for the said field and meadow at the usual terms in Baddesley, and 6 1/2 d. for the reversion of the said croft when it fell due, together with all other due and customary services. The said lands to revert to the rightful heirs of the said Geoffrey for ever, if the said Roger and Margaret died without lawful issue. Sealing clause.
