Description

Gift from Richard Whitley to John Brome of Warrewyk' the younger of a messuage in Baddisley called Magyndeys with two fields adjacent to the same, one lying in breadth between the land of the said John Brome on the one hand and the land of the Duchy of Lancaster on the other, and extending in length from the highway leading from Balshale towards the manor of Baddisley as far as the land of the Duchy of Lancaster called Waleys; the other field lying in width between Birchyngrove on the one hand and land formerly Saunders on the other, extending in length from the land of Henry Richard' as far as the highway leading from Couentre as far as Rysombrigge. Also another two fields called Popelond' lying in breadth between the land of Nicholas Goodman' on the one hand and le Longelone on the other, extending in length from the land of the said Nicholas as far as the land of the rectory of Baddisley. To hold the same for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Warranty clause. Sealing clause.
