Quitclaim from John Wykynggeston', Thomas Brailles Walter de Stretford', William de Bernyngton' [?Burmington] and Robert Broun to Robert Waldon' of Warrewik' of a tenement with curtilages, gardens, lands, meadows, pastures, feedings, woods, moorlands, hedges, ditches and appurtenances in Baddesleye Clinton' called Gilbardeslond. To hold the same for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Sealing clause. Witnesses: William le Rodye; John Hukyns; Henry Aleyn; Henry de Luscombe; Thomas Harpere and others. Given at Warrewik' Sunday on the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Mary 3 Edward III [2 February 1364/5]. Five circular seals of natural wax on three tags, 1 and 2, 4 and 5 placed tandemwise on single tags. All badly worn. 3/4 in. 1. ?An animal, legend defaced. 2. A shield with the letter B and a crest above, legend defaced. 3. Four leaves tied crosswise and veined, legend defaced. See DR 3/68. 4. ?A bird, fragment only, legend missing. 5.
