Madresfield deed

Description

Release for trusts recited from John Russell of Cowarne, Herefordshire, then of Little Malvern, Worcs. gent. and others with the direction of Sir Robert Throckmorton of Coughton Court, Warws. bart. and Dame Mary his wife, sister and heir of Sir John Yate bart. deceased to Chambers Slaughter of Braces Leigh in Bramsford, Worcs. in trust for William Lygon of Madresfield, Worcs. esq. and Charles Whitaker of Worcester, gent. of 3/4 of a messuage in Madresfield, late in the tenure of Edward Robertson and lands (described) in Madresfield and Great Malvern, purchased by the said Dame Mary Yate from the three co-heirs of William Knight, the elder, and established as a trust for the placing of apprentices from the poor of Chaddesley Corbett, lands for which trust had recently been more conveniently purchased in Chaddesley Corbett from Joseph Cox of Kidderminster. The lands in Madresfield to be held in trust for the said William Lygon and those in Great Malvern for the said Charles Whitaker.
