Will of William Baldwin, late Weston-on-Avon, now Stratford-upon-Avon, gent., devising all land with barn, buildings and appurtenances in Old Stratford, being 23 acres adjoining Evesham Road and Burying Lane in occupation John Ashfield; two cottages in Burying Lane in occupations Thomas Spilsbury and Joseph Hitchcox and Prospect Row to his son John Baldwin, subject to annuity of £100 to testator's wife Mary. ii) 7th September 1869. Probate of will. iii) 10th August 1870. Death of Mary Baldwin. iv) 1st February 1971. Mortgage by John Baldwin, Luddington, gent., to Henry Oliver Hunt, Stratford-upon-Avon, gent., and Clifford Chambers, Milcote, farmer, for £1200 of land and premises in Old Stratford, the two cottages then being in occupation of William Clark and John Hancox. v) 4th June 1876. Grant of Annuity upon premises payable during joint lives of John Baldwin and Emily Marianne his wife to John James Cockeram, Fryer Mayne, Dorset, gent. vi) March 1876. Will of John Baldwin, proved 1877, devising 'interalia' to his cousin Caroline Findon, cottage in Burial Lane in occupation --- Smith, nurseryman and devising to his servant, Joseph Newland, two cottages in Burial Lane in occupations Solomon Hancox and William Clarke. vii) May 1877. Repayment of mortgage sum and vesting of cottages premises in Robert Lunn in trust to use of Caroline Findon.
