Lease and release: three cottages in Shottery

Description

Reconveyance by lease and release from John Cookes of Birmingham, baker, nephew and heir at law of Nathaniel Cookes, deceased, in whom the legal estate in the late Hannah Cotterell's property is vested, to John Pace now of Henley in Arden, victualler, in consideration of £140, of the three cottages at Shottery, one late of Sarah Lowe (afterwards of William Robbins), with the close and garden, two then of William Hathaway (WH's being later that of Wm. Sitch) and of John Jones senior, (JJ's being later that in the tenure of William Fairfax), 28th-29th June 1808. [The description in the lease for a year resembles that given in the mortgage no. 5 below]
