Marriage articles of agreement indented between William Townesend of Tiddington, yeoman, and Mary his wife of the one part, and George Hinde of Tachbrook, husbandman, and William Hynde [sic] his son and heir apparent on the other part, whereby, in consideration of the marriage of WH and Mary, eldest daughter of William Townesend and also of £400 to be paid to WT by WH, WT and his wife will convey a messuage, three yardlands and a quarterne of a yardland in the common fields of Tiddington and Alveston and within the parish of Bishopps Hampton, in return for the yearly rent of £13 6s 8d, and also the grant to WT and Mary his wife for their lives of the use of the parlour and of the chamber over the same, and bundles of furzes and wood, 10th January 23 Chas I
