Conveyance: land on the Barn Ground in Old Stratford

Description

Conveyance by way of mortgage to secure £150 from Elizabeth Tomlinson of Birminghham, spinster, at the request of John Jelleyman of Stratford, rope-maker, to John Taylor of Stratford, builder, of one acre of land in Old Stratford, being part of the Barn Ground, formerly in the occupation of Mr Fisher Tomes and bounded on the east by the turnpike road from Stratford to Shipston, with proviso that if the money is repaid by JJ, he will have the property conveyed to him, he having contracted with ET for the said purchase (marginal plan), 28th September 1855. Endorsed with the said conveyance from JT to JJ, 23rd September 1871.
