Details of the will of Louisa Higgins, dated 30th May 1854, proved 26th July 1872, following her death on 5th June 1872, by which she left her share of the Farnborough property to Emma Higgins and her children by LH's brother John Higgins, and also devised the Roundhill estate in Burmington and Barcheston to nephews. Notes on those beneficiaries: her brother John Higgins had died in 1852, and his son, John Higgins in 1870; her nephew Edward Higgins, eldest son of JH, succeeded to one fifth of the Farnborough estate on the death of LH, and to the remaining four fifths subject to the life interest of EH, and died 14th June 1872, leaving his brother Thomas Higgins his heir at law. Both EH and TH died in 1881 [this was incorrect as TH died in 1891], and the property wasd devised to his widow and stepson, William Henry Potts upon trusts, made ?by solicitor, c.1892
