Lease for fourteen years from Manley C. Ashwin of Stratford, merchant, and Sarah Ann Wells of Stratford, draper, of a messuage, shop with the workrooms, outbuildings and appurtenances, thereto, forming the corner of Bridge St and Union St, 23rd December 1890. Consent from The Metropolitan Bank (of England Wales) Limited, mortgagees, for M. C. Ashwin, mortgagor, to grant a lease for 21 years of a messuage and shop with the workrooms belonging etc., forming the corner of Bridge St and Union St, Stratford, to Walter J. Valentine of Bedford, and Harvey H. Freeman of Stratford, both drapers, 4th October 1904
