Lease and release: lands in Shottery and Shottery Meadow

Attested copy conveyance by lease and release and covenant to levy a fine from Anna Kitchen of Shottery, widow of John Kitchen, yeoman, and Morrice Kitchen of Birmingham, brass candlestick maker, only son of John and Anna Kitchen, Sarah Fincher, of Birmingham, widow of Joseph Fincher, late of Alderminster, blacksmith, Mary Hemming of Aston Cantlow, widow of Thomas Hemming late of Shottery, carpenter, (which said Anna Kitchen, SF and MH were the three daughters and co-heiresses of Samuel Kitchen late of Shottery, carpenter, deceased, who was the son and heir of Adam Kitchen of Shottery, carpenter, deceased) to Leonard Court the younger, in consideration of £330, of two messuages in Shottery now in the tenure of Anna Kitchen and Thomas Heydon, the croft or close adjoining belonging to the first messuage, now in the possession of William Tasker, and one quarter of a yardland of 18 selions, lands or ridges dispersed in the common fields of Shottery, two two acres and two swathes of meadow in Shottery Meadow, with common of pasture, which said lands are now in the occupation of John Tysoe, 11-12th October 1769
