Anne Holtom deceased: conveyance upon trust from Alice Barnes Holtom and Henrietta Holtom, both of Stratford, spinsters, to Thomas William Hatten of Stratford, solicitor's clerk, of all the estates or interests for life of ABH and HH of and in Ely Place, upon trust for the child or children or remoter issue of Edward Gibbs Holtom, to take effect immediately upon the death of EGH, and to become vested in them as absolutely as if ABH and HH had already died [the recitals state that AH's original will devised the Ely St property to EGH absolutely, but charged with the payment of £400, but a third codicil to the will revoked the legacy and devised the property to EGH and John Slatter as trustees, who were to let the house and let EGH have the profits during his lifetime, after which they were to go to her daughters, ABH and HH for life, and then to EGH's children], 31st December 1920
