Original bundle of 21 documents labelled "of ye House at Hitcott", relating to John Tayler, containing 11 notices to quit and agreements for leases of properties in Mickleton, to the majority of which John Tayler is a party, 1812 (when he was under age), 1822-1840, with agreement by John Tayler for the purchase by George Bucknell of his Cherry Orchard of grass for £30, 24th May 1837; notice tha JT has no dog, 1839; receipts for rent of Cherry Orchard aftermath, 1840, and for a brown mare, 1827; certificate that the grey mare in the possession of Mr Tayler is unsound, 1833; draft agreement for letting land in Mickleton between the churchwardens and overseers and the undersigned [not present] tradesmen labourers ec. "To cultivate as Gardens in a husbandry like manner", dated April 1831; list of freeholders in Mickleton liable for jury service, c.1820, signed J. Tayler, constable; summonses to John Tayler to serve as juror for the Assizes, 1823, and for the Glos Quarter Sessions, 1839; vestry agreement about the pay of the overseer of Mickleton, 1830.
