Description

Defeasance from Thomas Lord Leigh, Baron of Stoneleigh, to Loveisgod Gregory of Stevinghall, alias Stivechell, esq., that, if the said Loveisgod observes all the conditions contained in an agreement of 4 December last, made between the said parties, and in a release of even date from the said Loveisgod to the said Thomas, then a recognisance under the statute merchant of even date, acknowledged before Thomas Lawrence, mayor of Coventry, and Simon Burton, gent., binding the said Loveisgod to the said Thomas in 400 pounds, will be void.
