Description

Articles of agreement between Bridget Bromley of the parish of St. George Hanover Square, co. Middlesex, widow relict of William Throckmorton Bromley, late of Baginton, esq., Sir William Bagot of Blithfield, co. Staffs., baronet, and John Mordaunt of Walton, esq., (which said Bridget, Sir William and John are testamentary guardians of William Davenport Bromley, esq., a minor, son of the said William Throckmorton) of the one part, and Arthur Gregory, late of Stivichall and now of Warwick, esq. The said Bridget, Sir William and John, on behalf of the said William Davenport, agree that the said Arthur Gregory may lawfully hold all that parcel of land containing one acre one rood twenty perches lying at the west end of Finham Meadow in the parish of Stoneleigh, now in the occupation of Jasper Palfrey; in exchange the said Arthur agrees with the said Bridget, Sir William and John that the said William Davenport may lawfully hold a parcel of land containing fifty-three perches lying in Finham in Calves Meadow, three doles of land containing three roods in Long Meadow, Baginton, and a small bit of meadow ground in Kirkman Meadow, Baginton, and also a quit rent of 13 shillings payable by the said William Davenport to the said Arthur Gregory out of the mill and homestead called Baginton Mill, together with the tithes payable from the same.
