Description

Defeasance from Arthur Gregory of Styvechale, esq., to George Marburye, citizen and haberdasher of London, reciting a lease of 22 May last [no. 1229], that if the said George enjoys the lease according to the terms, then a statute staple of even date, made before Sir Christopher Wray, Lord Chief Justice of England, binding the said Arthur to the said George in 500 marks, shall be void.
