Three indentures of a covenant to lead the uses of a fine from John Gregory of Stivichall, alias Stichall, esq. to Sir Simon Archer of Tanworth, knight, Segrave Gregory of Stivichall, gent., James Prescott of Warwicke, gent., and Richard Taylor of Anstey, gent., of the manors of Kingshill, alias Hellinghull, alias Hull, Brincklowe, and Alspath, and nine messuages, one cottage, three water-mills, ten gardens, ten orchards, three hundred acres of land, forty acres of meadow, four hundred acres of pasture, forty acres of wood, two hundred acres of furze and heath, twenty acres of land covered with water, 100 shillings rent, free fishing in the rivers Armely and Avon and view of frankpledge in Kingshill, Brincklowe, Finham, Fletchampsted, Stoneley, Corley, Canley, Allesley, Meriden and Alspath; which fine is to create them perfect tenants of the freehold so that a recovery may be had against them within 18 months by Thomas Pidgeon of Coventry, gent., and Henry Phillipps the younger of Stonely, yeoman, for the uses specified in nos. 1264-5, but with differences in the portions to be raised for the daughters of Loveisgod Gregory, i.e. 400 pounds for Mary, and 250 pounds apiece for Elizabeth and Sarah.
