Kingshill in Stoneleigh deeds and papers

Description

Defeasance from Loveisgod Gregory of Stevinghall, alias Stivechall, esq., to Thomas Lord Leigh, baron of Stoneleigh, that,
if the said Thomas observes all the conditions contained in an agreement of 4 December last, made between the said parties, and in a release of even date from the said Thomas to the said Loveisgod [no. 1286], then a recognisance under the statute merchant of even date, acknowledged before Thomas Lawrence, mayor of Coventry, and Simon Burton, gent., binding the said Thomas to the said Loveisgod in 400 pounds, will be void.
