Volume containing: a) Copy settlement on the marriage of Francis Grosvenor Hood of Nottingham Place in the parish of Marylebone, co. Middx., Lieutenant-Colonel in the Army, to Elizabeth Jane Hamond, spinster, daughter of Sir Graham Eden Hamond of Norton Lodge, Isle of Wight, baronet, Admiral R.N., being a conveyance from the said Francis Hood to Samuel Viscount Hood of Whitly Abbey, Arthur Francis Gregory of Stivichall, esq., Andrew Snape Hamond of Norton Lodge, Captain R.N., and Henry Sewell of Newport, Isle of Wight, esq., of £4444. 8s. 10d. in 3 percnt; consols to which the said Francis Hood is entitled on the death of his mother, Caroline Hood of Nottingham Place; to hold in trust to allow the said Francis Hood and Elizabeth Hamond and the survivor of them to receive the dividends thereof, and after their deaths to hold the same in trust for their children. (pp. 1-38) b) Copy conveyance from the said Sir Graham Eden Hamond to the said trustees of a piece of land (described) in the East Fen, co. Lincs., in trust to sell the same and hold the surplus monies arising from the sale upon the same trusts as contained in the settlement of even date. (pp. 41-60)
