Gift with warranty from Alexander son of Alexander le Moubray of Coventre deceased, to Giles de Launoy `waydour' in Coventr' of a certain tenement with buildings erected thereon and other appurtenances lying in `vico fontis' [Well Street] in Coventreye between the tenement of Anketin' de Colishul and the tenement of John de Puysford' late belonging to William Cokes of Halys le Barker in breadth and extendingin length from the said street to the stream running towards the Priory of Coventr' together with a piece of marsh land beyond the said stream between the land of the said Giles and the land of the said John de Puysford' in breadth, and in length from the said stream to the meadow of the Prior and Convent of Coventr'; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee. Witnesses: John de Cliftone, bailiff of Coventr'; Roger de Pacw[od], coroner, John de Puysford, Symon de Puysford, William de Haldenby, Nicholas Dyer (tinctore), Richard Dyer, John Pyhod the younger, John de Colishul of Coventr' clerk, and others.
