Description

Lease from Arthur Gregory of Stivic-Hall, esq. to John Burden of Coventry, victualler, of two closes in the parish of St. Michael, Coventry called the Heath Closes containing together 16 acres, late in the tenure of John Webster esq., deceased, then of John Nervis, then of Joseph Gibbons, since of Thomas Dawson, since of John Adams and now of the said John Burden (but reserving to the said Arthur all trees growing upon the said premises); to hold the same for 10 years, rendering annually £25, and a further £10 yearly for every acre which the said John Burden should plough and convert into tillage.
