Description

Gift with warranty from Hugh de Stivechale to Richard de Esseby in Coventr' of a curtilage in Stivechale lying between the land which Roger Daghater held and the land of Hugh; to hold of the said Hugh for ever, rendering annually one rose at the feast of St. John the Baptist in lieu of all secular services and suits of court; and for this the said Richard gives 20 shillings. Witnesses: Joylinus de Stivechale, Robert Forsetar', John de Barwe, Ranulph son of Hugh, John de Cannelye, Robert Iabet, Roger the clerk and others. Seal on tag; oval, green. A rayed 8-foil.
