Description

Release, lease absent, the release being a mortgage, from Arthur Gregory of Stivic Hall, alias Stichall, esq., to Thomas Birch of Bond Street in the parish of St. George, Hanover Square, co. Middx., banker, of the manor of Stivic Hall with the capital mansion called Stivic Hall and the demesne land adjoining thereto containing fifty acres, late in the tenure of the Rt. Hon. Lady Craven, for an annual rent of 200 pounds, and now of the said Arthur Gregory; also a farm in Stivic Hall of one hundred and fifty acres in the tenure of Richard Arnold and let at an annual rent of 240 pounds, a messuage and farm in Stivic Hall of seventy acres in the tenure of John Smart and let at an annual rent of 105 pounds, and a newly erected watermill in Stivic Hall with all the lands, etc. belonging thereto containing thirty acres, now in the tenure of William Hadley and let at an annual rent of 80 pounds, together with common of pasture, courts leet, courts baron and views of frankpledge; to secure 1000 pounds.
