Description

Conveyance by lease and release by Bernard Paulet of Cottles, Wilts., esq to Robert Peirce of the City of Bath, Doctor in Phisick, John Danvers of Monks, Corsham, Wilts., esq., William Brewer of Trowbridge, Wilts., esq. and John A'Court of Raddon, Somerset, esq., in trust to uses specified by Paulet, of his estates, lands, rents, revenues, rectories etc. at Cottles, Wilts, Nosterfield Priors, Cambs., Maxstoke, Bentley, Shustoke and Fillongley, Warks. Endorsed with settlement, 14 April 1687 by Bernard Paulet of the within named estates, after his death, upon Francis Poulett, half brother to `the now Marquess of Winchester' in tail male and with the revocation of the same 25 June 1687 Also endorsed with notes of examination in a Chancery case between Francis Paulet, esq., plaintiff and Jane Browne and Ann Daniell, defts., 1702
