Indenture dated 13 Dec. 1683 between William Browne of Lurgursall co. Wilts, gent., of the 1st part; Sir Charles Waldegrave of Chiswick co. Middx bart., Sir Henry Waldegrave knight, his eldest son and Charles Waldegrave esquire his second son, of the 2nd part; and John Smith of Crabbett co. [ ] of the 3rd part, being a declaration by the first named that an assignment to him of a mortgage formerly made by John Smith to Henry Webb of Chelsey co. Middx gent., was in trust to protect the marriage settlement dated 20 November 1683 , on the marriage of the said John Smith and Elizabeth Waldgrave of lands in [ ] Signed and sealed by the parties.
