A copy of Letters Patent dated 9 Oct: 36 Henry VIII (1544) granting to Robert Bocher and Elizabeth his wife, Cruelfield Grange, with 30 acres of land, and 430 of pasture in le Walfelde, Lez Hobbes, Leyfelde, Le Whitfelde, Potterstede, Roughknolles, Smothe knolles, Monksheye, le Parkfelde, and Matmakers; together with 20 acres of pasture on Blackwaste, Berifelde Hobbens, and Walfelde, with 30 more of arable on Mylfelde.
