Lease for 20 years with warranty from John Archer' esquire to Richard Dolphyn' of five parcels of land in Toneworth', one called Stockynge, another called Blakemor' with two groves and an adjacent meadow, the third called Acresgreven' lying together in length and breadth between Pyryhull', Ruydynge, Dunscrofte, Barneyard, Bury, Byrchecrofte and le herefeld' of Ton' on all sides; to hold from the feast of the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary [2 february] last past for 20 years at the annual rent of 26 shillings and 8 pence [2 terms]; the said John to have the right of distraint if the said rent was unpaid or in arrears beyond one month of the said terms and the right of re-entry if there was not sufficient to be distrained after six weeks; the said Richard to cut down and destroy all woods and subwoods growing on arable or meadow land in that parcel of land called Blakemor' and to make the land arable and sow and till the same; the said Richard to have the right if he wishes to cut down and destroy all woods and subwoods growing on arable land and meadow in any of the said parcels and to sow and till the same and to turn the meadows into reaping meadows; the said Richard also to make and maintain boundaries and hedges around the said parcels taking sufficient hedgebote for the same during the said term.
