Description

Gift with warranty from Isabella de la Lee widow daughter of William le Archer of Thaneworth to Simon le Archer son of John le Archer of all the parcels of land which she has in the field of Pirihull' in Thaneworth'; namely one parcel extending in length from the lane leading towards the church of Thaneworth' with two chief selions towards the Bachmedwe with the meadow pertaining thereto, and lying in width exactly between the land of Richard le Paumer and the land of John de la Berne; also the parcel lying between the land of John le Archer called Le Rudynge and the said lane, and the parcel between the land of William Broun in length and in width between the land of Richard le Paumer and the land of John de la Bern'; to hold the same rendering annually one halfpenny at Christmas; and for this the said Simon gives 40 shillings. Witnesses: John le Archer, John Wodard, Richard de Folewod', Thomas de la Lee, Peter de Vall', Roger Geryn, Roger Pavy and many others. Seal on tag, a pointed oval, white, defaced. ?A fleur de lys.
