Description

Copy of a lease for 99 years from William Diccons', Prior of Maystocke, and the convent of the same to John Fulwoode of the parish of Tonworthe, Oliver Wheigham, Thomas Greene, Richard Edwardes, John Dolphin and John Adalle, churchwardens of Tanworthe, of a messuage, garden and croft, being next to the churchyard in the parish of Tanworthe, called the Parsonage house; to hold from the day of the Purification of Our Lady [2 February] next for 99 years for the annual rent of 5 shillings; the said lessees having the right to build a new house on the said garden and croft to use for their churchales; provision included for the renewal of the lease for ever. Examined by Robertum Burgoyn, auditor. Dated, 23 Henry VIII.
