Gift with warranty from Baldwin Porter, citizen of Coventrie, gentleman, son and heir of John Porter late of Escote county Warwic' gentleman, deceased, to John Symons of Tonworth' husbandman for £27. 6. 8d, of a messuage in Monkispath streate in the parish of Tonworth', lying in length between the land of Richard Archer' esquire called Verdons on the one hand and the lane there called Haylane on the other, and in breadth between the land belonging to the Gild of the township of Henley on the north and the highway leading from Henley as far as the township of Brymycham on the south; also 5 crofts adjacent to the said tenement, which said tenement and crofts were in the tenure of Roger Northehall' husbandman by demise of the said John Porter and Elizabeth his wife for a term of years; to hold from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service.
