Agreement between Sir William Cecill knight, Lord Burghley, lord Treasurer of England and Master of the Court of Wards and Liveries and Robert Keylwey esquire, surveyor of the same and Andrew Archer gentleman, son and heir of Humphrey Archer esquire deceased for a survey to be made of the annual value of the lands of the said Humphrey for a grant of livery to be paid to the said Andrew with a schedule of the same attached: Humphrey Archer having died 24 October 4 Elizabeth 1562 when the said Andrew was under age and the said Andrew coming of age 17 January 17 Elizabeth [1574/1575], according to Inquisitions held in Warwicksire 10 January 5 Elizabeth [1562/1563] and 1 December 17 Eizabeth [1574] the lands of the said Humphrey were as follows: Warwickshire The manor of Monkespathe in Tanworth held of the Queen by Knight service; of the annual value of £6. 13. 4d.; the capital messuage called Omberslad in Tanworthe held of the Queen as of her manor of Tanworth rendering annually 28s. 2d., of the annual value of £13. 13. 4d., 2 closes in Tanworth called Leley and Monkhouse, 2 closes called Kyntland and Bauruddinges, 3 messuages in Tanworth, 20 acres of land, 60 acres of meadow, 100 acres of pasture, 2 pastures called Woodlands and Clarke landes with a meadow called Woolande meade and one close called Barnecrofte, held of the Queen as of her manor of Tanworth in socage, of the annual value of £6. 13. 4d. Herefordshire The moiety of the manor of Woodhampton and Eston held of the Queen as of her honour of Brecknok, of the annual value of £17. 15. 11d.; the third part of the manor of Hereford and the third part of the hamlet of Easton consisting of 7 messuages, 160 acres of land, 30 acres of meadow, 40 acres of pasture and 20 acres of wood, held of the Queen as of her honour of Brecknok by Knight service, of the annual value of £17. 15s. 11d.; a moiety of the vill of Bryhampton and Middelton, held of the Queen as of her honour of Brecknock, of the annual value of £6. 13s. 4d.
