Description

Gift with warranty from William de Bello Campo earl of Warwick to John de Pertegrene, for homage and service, of six acres from the waste of Thoneworthe lying between the land of Robert de la Hethe and the grantor's heath, and extending in length from the land called Berefordeslond' as far as the road towards the grantor's park as it is enclosed by hedges and ditches; to hold the same to the said John, his heirs and assigns, except a religious house, rendering annually 2 shillings (2 terms) for all services save suit of court at Thoneworth' at Christmas and Whitsun and the payment of scutage at the rate of 1 penny per acre when it falls due.
