Description

Gift with warranty from John Wodard son of Adam Wodard of Tanewrth' to William de Barnevile and Christine his wife, for service, of a piece of land in Tanewrth', namely six selions lying together in the field called Buddehelde between the land late of Sir William de Bereford' and the land of John le Archer, four selions lying together in Longhurst between the land once of Osbert Palmer and the land of Alexander Brun, and three separate selions lying in Shirewoldescroft, of which one lies between the land of Alexander Brun and the land which Robert, called le Stockere held, another lies between the land which the said Robert le Stockere had and the land which Henry Tove once held, and the third lies within the land of the said Robert le Stockere on each side; to hold the same rendering annually one clove of gilly flower at Christmas; and for this the said William and Christine give 10 shillings. Witnesses: John le Archer, Richard de Folewode, Roger de Sydenhale, Walter de Cherlecote, Richard de Wystanescroft, Thomas de Lee, Walter the chaplain and others. Tag, seal lost.
