Description

Gift with warranty from Nicholas de Lysterleye to Simon de Manecestre and Mary his wife of certain land in Fenschaue in Thaneworthe, namely that green piece of land, which lately remained to the grantor, [reaching] from the river towards the grantor's house and land, together with a grove extending in length from the said piece of land as far as the grantor's little garden and lying in width between the highway leading from Benetford' towards the church of Thaneworthe and a little lane leading towards the said piece of land; together with the lane as far as a little croft; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee rendering annually one clove of gilly flower. Witnesses: Richard de Folewode, Roger Gerin, William de Sydenhale, Adam Ysabel, Geoffrey de Middelmor, Roger the smith (fabro), Henry Wymart and others. Tag, seal lost.
