Description

Feoffment with warranty from Thomas Westcott of Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, gentleman and Dorothy Westcott of Chadwicke in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, widow, his mother to Simon Archer of Tanworth knight for £250 of a messuage in the tenure of William Warde, a messuage late in the tenure of Henry Brockhurst, with lands belonging to the same, being part of lands called Ailesbury lands in Tanworth, also rough land called Ailesbury land containing 200 acres in Tanworth being bounded by certain roads from Kings Norton to Warwick, from Kings Norton to Stratford upon Avon, from Tanworth church to Solyhull and to Hockley Heath, one part of the said lands adjoining lands late belonging to Richard Pare, then to George Sl[oan]e, another part adjoining land late belonging to the said Thomas Westcote, then to John Bennett and abutting on a close called Longcroft belonging to the parish of Tanworth; to hold for ever.
