Description

Conveyance by lease and release from Thomas Swetnam of Graiseley Castle, Notts., gentleman and Elizabeth his wife, Gilbert Cocks of Normanton on Soare, Notts., gentleman and Mary his wife and John Baxter of Great Whitley, Worcs., and Ruth his wife to John Lea of Ladbrookes Park in Tanworth gentleman for £75 of a close called Portway leasow containing 20 acres in Tanworth, late in the tenure of William Burbidge, then of the said John Lea, which property formerly belonged to William Roper of Kingsnorton, father of the said Elizabeth, Mary and Ruth.
