Description

Gift with warranty from Robert de Cimiterio of Olenhale to William de Barnevile and Christine le Archer his wife, for service, of a certain piece of land, with buildings, gardens and hedges, in Tanewrth' lying in length and breadth 'per circuitum' between the common field called Pyrihul, the land of William Brun, the common highway reaching towards the common land and the cottage which William Taleboth held; to hold the same rendering annually to the grantor one grain of pepper at Michaelmas and customary service to John le Archer; and for this the said William and Christine give 3 marks. Witnesses: John le Archer, Richard de Folewode, John Wodard', Roger de Sydenhale, Walter de Cherlecote, William Brun, Walter the chaplain and others. Seal on tag, circular, red, broken. A fleur de lys. Legend: ------- DE ---TERIO.
